Why do you call it "healthy infuzions"?

We call it "healthy infuzions" because our drinks are a fusion of natural juices with optimum level of anti-oxidants, essential vitamins & minerals and a unique combination of herbal extracts. Delicious on the palette, zipp is a healthy alternative to sugar-rich soft-drinks and juices.

Is zipp health infuzions a good drink for my low-carb diet?

zipp is a great product for a low-carb diet. It is delicious and refreshing and contains less than 1g of carbohydrates per 100ml. This compares favourably to most other fruit juices or soft drinks that typically contain 10 to 15g per 100ml.

All the carbohydrates come from fruit juices, which contain natural sugars.

Do the zipp drinks contain any preservatives?

WE DO NOT USE ANY ARTIFICIAL PRESERVATIVES IN OUR DRINKS! zipp healthy infuzions are made with natural ingredients and gently pasteurised and sealed in a glass bottle to protect it from bugs and oxygen. In addition, we enrich our products with natural vitamin C (ascorbic acid) that is good for you and acts as an antioxidant. We also use a tiny bit of locust bean gum (a vegetable gum extracted from the seeds of the Carob tree) to ensure the product is stable.

Do you use sweeteners?

To deliver a great taste while keeping calories low, zipp healthy infuzions have been developed with less than 10mg of no-calorie sweeteners per bottle (8mg Sucralose/ Splenda and 2mg Acesulfame-K). This is less than a quarter of what some leading diet soft drinks contain. The remaining 99.98 percent of our drink is all natural!

OUR PRODUCTS DO NOT CONTAIN ANY ASPARTAME SWEETENER!

We use Sucralose/Splenda as it is basically chlorinated table sugar and it has no effect on blood sugar and offers no calories. According to the UK Food Standards Agency, Sucralose is safe for everyone to consume, including pregnant women.

The UK Food Standards Agency recommends that adults do not exceed a daily intake of 2,800 mg of Sucralose. This is equivalent to about 280 bottles of zipp drinks per day!

Do any of the zipp drinks contain caffeine?

zipp slenderize (Orange Mango and Apple Elderflower) is enriched with three South American herbal extracts: Maté, Guarana, Damiana. Guarana contains natural caffeine. One bottle of zipp slenderize contains 11.92mg of caffeine or the equivalent to less than 1/4 a cup of coffee.

Are the zipp drinks suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

Most of our drinks contain no animal matter. However, our Orange Mango and Peach Passionfruit products are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians since they use fish gelatine as a fining agent.

Our Raspberry Blueberry and Apple Elderflower are both suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Are the zipp drinks suitable for diabetics?

Diet is very important in diabetes. However, what you can drink and eat can vary based on your medication, exercise and food requirements. According to Diabetes UK, a "free" food or drink is one that contains less than 20 calories and 5 grams or less of carbohydrate per serving. zipp healthy infuzions contain 35 calories and 5-7g of carbohydrates per bottle. Therefore, you should count zipp drinks as part of your meal plan and balance your diet accordingly. However, please talk with your doctor to make sure that zipp healthy infuzions are safe for you.

Can pregnant women drink zipp?

Why do you use glass bottles?

There are three reasons why we use glass bottles:

  1. It means that we can gently pasteurise our drinks so we do not have to use preservatives. It helps retain the fresh fruit flavour in our drinks.
  2. Any drink tastes better out of a glass than plastic. It is like drinking beer from a plastic cup … it just tastes differently! The best possible taste delivery is a cool drink (3-5°) served out of a cool glass bottle.
  3. Glass gives the product a premium image and makes it stand out from the plastic crowd.
